Thank you for celebrating 30 years of heritage at the annual Phillipsburg Ole Towne Festival June 23rd through June 25th.

The Committee had everything from children’s activities, live entertainment, a hot dog eating contest sponsored by Jimmy’s Doggie Stand, carnival rides, free Unity Bank hot air balloon rides, and even the MVP Baseball Games. Best of all, we cut the ribbon on the brand-new Splash Pad at Walters Park Pool.

Sponsored by I-78 Logistics Park , a “Sunday Soirée at Riverside Drive” marked the official closing ceremony for the 30th Ole Towne Festival. It was hosted at the Riverside Way Lot on the bank of the scenic Delaware. The final day of festivities featured Bobby Clark Play It Hard band, an outdoor movie theatre showing Boss Baby Pixar Movie and much more! It was the perfect conclusion to the 30th Anniversary of the Ole Towne Festival!

The 2017 Summer Concert Series wrapped up on August 24th at Riverside Way.  It featured Fitness Classes and a pop-up Farmer’s Market. Thank you to all the residents who came out and enjoyed!

Hispanic Cultural Festival

Saturday, July 28, 2018

The annual Hispanic Cultural Festival, This festival started in Scott Park, Easton, PA, but grew in 2016 when they partnered with the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the Phillipsburg Recreation Department to grow the festival to new heights.  The groups have been working together to extend the long-standing Amigos in the Valley Festival from Scott Park (Easton) to Riverside Way (Phillipsburg). Last year, the festival estimated over 4,000 in attendance and the night ended with fireworks on the Delaware! This partnership is a promising step in the right direction for the revitalization of downtown Phillipsburg and the beginning of many diverse opportunities for the residents of Phillipsburg.

The Recreation Department will add some highlights and family experiences to compliment the Hispanic Cultural Festival this year! Please join us for this annual bi-state cultural festival Saturday 12-10PM. There will be kids activities, live music, food vendors, beer tents, cultural fashion show, a Best Guacamole in the Valley contest, and so much more! See the fashion show in Easton, walk the bridge to Phillipsburg to judge the guacamole contest in Phillipsburg, then walk back to Easton for the best Latino bands from all over PA/NJ!
