Mosquito Control Treatment for 8/22 & 8/23

The Warren County Mosquito Control Commission is planning an area wide mosquito treatment in the Town of Phillipsburg and sections of Pohatcong Township and Alpha Borough between 10 pm Tuesday night (August 22) and  4 am Wednesday morning (August 23) weather permitting.

TREATMENT AREAS:
PHILLIPSBURG:
Roads between and attached to Broad Street and North Main St.
Roads between South Main St, Hudson Street and Route 22
Roads between Warren Street, Hudson Street and South Main.
Roads between the Delaware River and South Main St.
Roads between Roseberry St., Belvidere Road, and Lincoln.
Roads between Roseberry St., Warren Street, Center St., and Route 22
The trucks may not travel down every street/road/alley

POHATCONG:
Roads between and attached to St. James Avenue/Rt. 519 and the Phillipsburg Mall  (including Liberty Blvd, Victory Ave, and Chestnut St)
Roads in the area surrounding Crestwood Park
Pohatcong Street and attached roads, Schley Ave & Lee Ave and attached roads
The trucks may not travel down every street/road/alley

Two small pickup trucks with mounted sprayers will be used.  The trucks are clearly marked as Mosquito Commission vehicles and will use yellow flashing lights.  The trucks will travel down various streets in the Town of Phillipsburg and Pohatcong Township.  For more detailed information please check our website at www.warrencountymosquito.org.
