Parks & Recreation Areas
The Town of Phillipsburg features these 5 major park areas (pictures coming soon):
Walters Park – Pool, Pavilion, Picnic areas, 1/2 mile walking track, basketball court, fitness equipment, play pieces for ages 2-12, baseball field, soccer/football field, tennis courts.
Green Street Park – Pavilion, Picnic areas, basketball court, play piece for ages 5-12, baseball/softball field, football field, tennis courts.
Delaware Heights Park – Walking track, basketball court, play pieces for ages 2-12, baseball/softball field, soccer/football field.
Shappell Park – Located in the heart of our downtown, perfect for small weddings, host of our summer concert series, movies in the park, small events, and pop-up shops.
Delaware River Park – Walking track, skate park, play piece for ages 5-12, dog park.
Neighborhood Parks/Playgrounds: In addition to our community parks, the town has multiple playground areas, ballfields, trails, and passive areas available to members of our community.
