Town Clerk

The town clerk is responsible for keeping the records of the town. The clerk of the municipality is responsible for all council agendasminutes, resolutions and ordinances. The office also serves as the office of vital statistics providing marriage licenses, as well as certified copies of birth, marriage and death. Certified copies of birth, marriage and death certificates can also be obtained on line through the New Jersey website: https://www.state.nj.us/health/vital/

The office is also responsible for all licensing – dog and cat, taxi and limousine, coin operated vending machines, solicitors.

The Municipal Clerk is the records custodian for OPRA Requests.

The clerk is also the election official for the town. Voter registration and changes can be facilitated through this office.
