Rent Control Board- accepting letters of interest to serve on the Rent Control Board

As per Ordinance #2024-31, The Town of Phillipsburg is accepting letters of interest to serve on the Rent Control Board. The Board shall have three members that reside in a rental property in Phillipsburg which meets the eligibility for being subject to rent control, three members that are landlords for properties meeting the eligibility for being subject to rent control (but owning properties not housing any of the tenant representatives), and one representative of the Town of Phillipsburg that is neither landlord nor renter of properties subject to rent control in the Town of Phillipsburg.
