Sidewalk Snow Removal Reminder – School Routes

The Town of Phillipsburg is asking for residents’ cooperation in clearing sidewalks along school routes. The safety of our children is a top priority, and clear sidewalks are essential for students walking to and from school.

Please be reminded that Town ordinance requires snow and ice to be removed from sidewalks within 24 hours after a storm. We recognize that the amount of snowfall makes this challenging, and we appreciate the effort residents are making; however, sidewalks—especially those used by students—must be cleared to ensure safe passage.
