🚧 TOWN-WIDE PROJECTS UPDATE – THANK YOU, PHILLIPSBURG! 🚧

We’re happy to share that the Town-Wide Milling & Paving Program is complete for this season! Crews will be returning soon to finish line striping. Thank you for your patience and cooperation throughout this major improvement effort.

Here’s what else is happening around Town:

🔹 Hudson Street Improvements – Phase 4 (Top Line Construction)
Work is underway between Washington St. and Shimer Blvd. Phase 1 includes drainage, curb, sidewalk, and driveway apron repairs (7 AM–5 PM). The road is closed to through-traffic but remains open for residents and emergency access.
A separate notice will be issued prior to the milling & paving phase.

🔹 SECTV & Comcast
Utility companies continue upgrading overhead internet and cable infrastructure to improve reliability and service throughout town.

🔹 Elizabethtown Gas 
Restoration work is ongoing in the Logan Street / South Main (Skoda) area, with additional work expected to resume in early December. This is part of Etown’s long-term, town-wide gas system upgrades.

🔹 Water Main Replacement – (CRJ Contracting) – Weekly Work Schedule (Dec. 1–5, 2025)
CRJ continues its scheduled water main replacement work, with crews working block-by-block as outlined in their weekly schedule.

  • Monday 12/1: Mercer Street – service work between Jefferson St. and South Main. Intersections remain open.
  • Tuesday 12/2: Jefferson Street – service work between Mercer St. and Cherry Alley. Intersections remain open.
  • Wednesday 12/3: Mercer Street – service work between Stockton St. and Fox St. Intersections remain open.
  • Thursday 12/4: Mercer Street – continuing service work between Stockton St. and Fox St. Intersections remain open.
  • Friday 12/5: Mercer Street – continuing service work between Stockton St. and Fox St. Intersections remain open.

🔹 Aqua New Jersey – Lead Service Line Replacement
Miller Construction continues Aqua’s Lead Service Line Replacement project across Phillipsburg — at no cost to residents. If your address is included in the current phase, you should have received direct notice from Aqua. Concrete restoration will now begin. Please see the schedule below.
